Web Design 2011-2012

In a bit over 10 years the World Wide Web has gone from a novel entertainment media to a seemingly essential component of our business, educational, and personal lives. The Web Design class at PTHS looks to give students a basic insight into the mechanics, history, and implications of the World Wide Web, as well as core skills in developing, managing, and deploying effective content and websites. The emphasis of this class is on understanding good design principals and the "Why?" of Web Design as well as the "How".
